Peranan Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia Dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Ekonomi Berbasis Risiko Pada Perusahaan Pialang Asuransi Di Indonesia: Studi Literatur Kualitatif

Insurance brokers play a crucial role in helping companies manage and transfer their risks through informed decision-making regarding insurance programs. The increasing complexity of the business environment and rising economic uncertainty force companies to rely on the skills of their Human Resources (HR) to make informed and effective decisions, while considering the various risks they face. This study analyzes the role of HR skills in this context, identifies the skills that have the greatest impact on decision-making quality, and formulates strategies for developing these skills among insurance brokers in Indonesia. The study employed qualitative methods and included a literature review of ten relevant journals published over the past ten years. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction and presentation, and conclusions were drawn based on a synthesis of previous research. The findings indicate that HR management skills, including knowledge, skills, experience, analytical thinking, and risk management insights, contribute significantly to improving the quality of risk-based business decisions. Furthermore, a risk-oriented corporate culture, the use of information technology, and ongoing HR training will foster effective decision-making. This study recommends that insurance brokers strengthen their personnel development programs through training, professional certification, fostering a risk-oriented culture, and leveraging technology and data analytics to improve business decision quality and enhance competitiveness.
