Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the digital transformation challenges faced by PT Asuransi Hebat Timur related to employee mindset that prioritizes quantity over quality in the insurance policy issuance process. Digital transformation is imperative for the insurance industry to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness, but is often hindered by employee resistance and organizational unpreparedness. This research uses a qualitative case study method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of company documents. The results show that the employee mindset oriented towards quantitative targets (number of policies issued) without considering underwriting quality and document completeness is a result of inadequate change management, digital training, and organizational culture that does not support innovation. Recommendations include implementing two-way communication-based change management strategies, developing sustainable digital training programs, and modifying incentive systems that balance quantity and quality indicators of policy issuance.
